What Causes Swelling And Itching On The Heel?

Hi, I ve been feeling what i d describe as a blister on the back of my heel. Last night while in bed, I had to keep adjusting my ankle so no weight came to my heel. Today, my entire heel is swollen, itchy and painful to the touch. I didn t injure it that I know of. I did have some boots on that made me notice something was going on there. Any clue?

may be shoe injury which is not so evident ,tight shoes might have induced mild ischaemia and local skin flora might have invaded causing present symptoms .right now avoid shoe moist heat may help and keep the leg elevated .i do hope you are not immunocomprmised,and no diabetes .
