What Causes Swelling And Numbness In Lower Lip Post Extraction Of Wisdom Tooth?

Hi, I had my lower left wisdom tooth removed 2 days ago, my lower lip and chip is still numb, my dentist said he s a bit surprised as even though the tooth had to be broken up as it was an impacted wisdom - partially bony, it came out fine, he prescribed dexamethasone (8 tabs yesterday, 4 today and 2 tomorrow) with vit b12, I m also on amoxil antibiotics and cataflam. Should I be worried?

Read your query as you have numbness in lower lip there is nothing to be worried so much this can be due to effect of anaesthesia . Take proper medicine prescribed by dentist and maintain your follow up visits to your doctor .
