What Causes Swelling And Pain Around The Ankles?

I had a fall a few weeks ago and landed from a height onto a metal ladder. At the time my leg bruised which soon went. Now it has a hard area which is now solid and red, my legs swells around the ankle and stays indented when pressed, the leg is really white with the one red area and seems tight, should I worry?
