What Causes Swelling And Pain Around The Right Ankle?

I have swelling and pain in my right ankle area. I took the predisone regimen for six days as prescribed by my doctor. The pain and swelling went away for three days and nowit is back again, the pain and the swelling. I was also taking naproxin 500mg. twice a day while taking the predisone and now. I was wondering if the naproxen is contributing to my problem.

Hello

No, tab. naproxen do not cause ankle swelling. Let me know do you have history of injury to ankle? If yes, then kindly do x ray of that ankle joint after orhtopedician consultation. Kindly do leg elevation and strapping of ankle joint. Don't give much pressure over ankle joint.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care.
