What Causes Swelling And Pain In Calf Radiating To Knee?

I have a question a couple of days ago I had a big charlie horse in my leg during a workout and now my calf muscle has swelled up and the pain radiates to the back of my knee, and it's tender to touch. Is this something I should be concerned about or will the pain go away with time. Thank you!
