What Causes Swelling And Pain In Clitoris And Vulva?

I have a swollen clitoris and vulva that hurts when touching eachother or clothing. It also hurts when I pee. I don t think its a yeast infection because it is not itchy and does not smell. The pain is more sharp and burn like constantly when it is touched by anything.

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Pain and swelling in clitoris and vulva is suggestive of inflammation of the vulva and clitoris.
Inflammation is commonly due to infection, however, other possibilities have also to be ruled out.
Associated swelling suggests soft tissue involvement by the inflammatory process.
Is there associated vaginal discharge also?
An associated vaginal discharge is indicative of infection.
Sharp and burning pain can also be due to urinary tract infection.
Thus, you can get a routine urine examination along with microscopy.
In addition, a clinical examination by your primary healthcare provider is also required.
Allergy to specific fabric can also lead to swelling and pain.
Thus, avoid use of synthetic fabric and start the use of cotton undergarments.
However, clinical assessment ic necessary for further management.

Thanks and take care
