Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling and pain in fingers. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like injuries like soft tissue injury , osteoarthritis ganglion cysts or kienbock's disease. I would suggest you to give your wrist proper rest , apply warm compresses on wrist thrice a day and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain.Allergic reaction can also cause such symptoms , so take over the counter anti histamine . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , MRI or blood test . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , steroid injection , anti inflammatory along with physical therapy . Doctor may also recommend surgery in severe joint damage .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
