What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Ankle Along With Chest Pain?

My ankle hurts, is swollen and discolored. What is most painful appears to be the vein from my foot up my leg. I have also experienced some chest pains. I received an ultra sound for DVT and they ruled it out. I was wondering if by chance it could be gout?

Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopaedician and plan for an MRI scan.
