What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Lower Leg And Ankle?
I have lower leg and ankle swelling. I went to my doctor on Monday and he ordered blood tests but still has not received the results. He did blood work for blood clots, thyroid, and routine cbc etc. He did an EKG which looked good. He checked my veins visually and did not think there was a clot. He said my pulse in my legs were good. Its in the lower part of my legs and can sometimes feel like a burning sensation.

Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan. As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.
