What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Nipples?

Hi, I am a 49 year old woman. I have not seen my menses for this month. My nipples are swollen and they hurt a lot.what could be the possible cause for this. Lastweek Friday my stomach was hurting & I thought my period would come, but up till now. Nothing.Need your advice. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Hello,
I understand your concern.

By looking at your age it is highly advisable to do mammogram.

it's least likely to be pregnant but get your test done.

About pain at nipples, I generally advise Patients in my clinic to take diclofenac and serratiopeptidase combination.

If mammogram comes normal get your prolactin levels in blood.
