Hello my name is Anne. I m 48 and i think i have a prolapsed uterus but have not been to see the OBGYN in several years. I don t notice much pain or bulging in my vagina area it used to bother me when i was going through my menstrual cycle but im in menopause so that doesn t happen much anymore. I am not sexually active very often however i met an old friend this week on vacation and we had intercourse. im experiencing a strange pain like a cramp when i bend over on the right side of my abdomen under my rib cage and its difficult to stand until the cramp goes away..strained muscle or uterus whats your opinion

Hi, I think it is due to a strained muscle not your uterus. You can take some pain killers and muscle relaxant. As you told you are suspecting a prolapse uterus, you should meet a gynecologist to confirm it, because prolapse uterus can lead to urine problems and discharge also if left as such for long. Hope I have answered your question.
