Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Vagina and vulva hurts kindly swollen have little tiny bumps started out with white skin on them now little red feels like when I urinate it burns some but burns more of the vagina and outside like it s raw and cracked and my boyfriend has few bumps on him they showed up after my vagina started hurting and I started my menstrual the day it all started which was two days ago it does hurt at first to insert tampon but I shaved the day before it started and had also used anti bacterial soap down there I used skintimate shave scream with lanolin and olive butter
Because both you and your boyfriend are having tinny white bumps on red skin and these lesions are painful, this is very likely a genital herpes infection. Oral acyclovir is needed for both of you.
You will both need to be tested for herpes infection and probably other infections as well such as chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis, Hepatitis B, etc.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General and Family Physician
