What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Veins Of Wrist?

Hi I m a 26 year old female half an pack a day smoker, I have bad asthma and have recent been tapered off prendisilone, I had pneumonia last year and have worked out was on pred for 5months out of the past 12, have had recent swelling of veins in hands, also have spider veins on most of my body now, the vein in my hand has been hurting today and both collar bones hurt

It appears that you have had over dosage of steroids( Prednisone ).You must be obese, having rounded face.A person who has been taking steroids for a long time, superficial veins become dilated and prominent.These may regress with the passage of time.
