What Causes Swelling And Pain In Uvula After Doing Cocaine?
I did cocaine and my uvela is swollen and all sore.. :( it keeps on feeling like its getting up at the back of my tounge and it's really sore and made me get sick and blood came out? Should I be worried, and is there anything I can do to make the pain go away? Please
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.
As per your complain and presentation of symptoms snorting cocaine has led t an allergic reaction leading to inflammation and swelling of uvula as well as rising of the back of tongue can be due to allergic reaction causing tongue swelling and inflammation of Circumvallate papilla present at the back of the tongue as well as bleeding from uvula and tongue.
Nothing to worry, just completely stop use of cocaine. Take anti-allergic medicines like Cetrizine or allegra. Take anti-inflammatory painkiller Ibuprofen. Avoid hot and spicy food. Do warm saline gargles. Gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine can help..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.. Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
