What Causes Swelling And Pain Near The Ear?

by a hand Hi! I had been hit by someone last night on my head near my right ear. It still hurts now and it s swelling. It s soft to touch and I m putting ice on it but I think it s still swelling and painful.. I dont feel any other symptoms aside from swell and pain on the site. There s no bleeding. What should I do?

Hi there.....thanks for the query.....I suggest you to see an ent doctor to rule out any traumatic perforation of the ear drum....sa far as the swelling is concerned that can be a haematoma or soft tissue swelling which will subside in 3-5 days.....I hope this gives answer to your query.
