What Causes Swelling And Pain Under Arm And On The Side Of Her Breast?

My daughter always has discomfort under her arm and on the side of her breast. It is always swollen and makes it hard for her to wear a bra, for the last couple of days she has had tingling and numbness in her arm as well. She has had a mammogram, ultrasound, and Mari which all revealed nothing. What could be causing her so much pain.

Hi,
I understand your concern.
The swollen thing in underarms your daughter has is tail of breast. It is an extra breast tissue that projects in axillary area- is prone to get inflamed/ enlarged at menses/ painful.
Your daughter needs a gynecologist's advise to assess the severity of problem followed by treatment with- Hormones/ anti inflammatory drugs/ surgical removal.
Thanks.
