I m 24, 5 7 , 150lb. I m allergic to hydrocortisone. I had a minor ear ache and I used some melaleuca oil mixed with coconut oil behind my ear, on my ear an d on the side of my head right next to my ear. I also went for a walk in the woods and mowed/weed wacked my yard. Problem: itchiness started 4 days ago and I ignorantly itched my ear. That worked until my ear was swollen, a little red, and was perspiring a clear wetness that would dry as a crunchy orange layer on my ear. I used frankincense and the swelling has gone down a little around my ear, but my ear itself is still swollen and perspiring. Any thoughts? I was thinking it could be an infection of some kind possibly induced by the itching, or maybe even some kind of irritant from the walk/yard work.
