What Causes Swelling And Pimples On The Face After Dermastamp Treatment?

Hi I had a dermastamp treatment 3 days ago. The day after my face was swollen and covered in little pimples. Then my lymph glands in my neck became swollen and my throat a little sore. Now my face is healing well but my lymph nodes are still swollen and painful although a little better but I m now developing cough/ cold symptoms. I m a bit worried.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection. The swollen lymph nodes are probably reactive lymph nodes.

I recommend using anti-inflammatory medication such as Ibuprofen three tablets a day. I also recommend to rest and drink a lot of liquids.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
