I was put on cymbalta as zoloft wasn t doing anything, for the last month or so I have retained a great deal of water retention, my feet are swollen to my mid-calf and my whole body just feels swollen. I ve also developed a rash on my feet. it does not itch it a blotchy redness. I am a diabetic (no insulin) but this has never happened before.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be due to allergic eruption. As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like pheniramine for symptomatic relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
