What Causes Swelling And Rashes On Chest, Neck And Stomach?

Three nights ago, my daughter had large rashes broke out on her chest, neck and stomach. She took Benadryl which helped but the rashes are back but only at night. Tonight it s on her arms and the areas where the rash is are swelling up and her hand feels numb. The Benadryl isn t helping this time.

Hi.

Then it would be best to take her to an ER and get her injected with pheniramine or other anti-histamines that provide quick relief. Also analyzing all the factors that she is exposed to closely before she develops her symptoms of an allergic reaction may help find the source of the reaction, especially anything new (e.g. new sheets, new detergent, new ingredient in food, etc.)
