What Causes Swelling And Red Rash On Hand After An Injury?

2 nights ago, i punched someone in the face. last night, my hand swelled up considerably and there's a red rash over it.
also where my hand hit his teeth is white pussy mark and it looks rather infected. should i be alarmed? and would this warrant me going to the hospital?
