What Causes Swelling And Redness In An Eye?

My right eyeball is swollen very red. Felt like something was in it all day but when rubbed it felt like skin. Now my eye looks like it is peeling. Does not hurt when open but is painful when I blink or close my eye lid. I am almost 17. Should I be concerned?

It requires examination by specialist. It is painful when you open or blink. this shows it is inflamed r having corneal abrasion. need to apply anti biotic eye drop and ointment at bedtime, can take combiflam tablet after food for two times. warm compression can be given.
