What Causes Swelling And Redness In Between The Buttocks?

Hi, I have been having extreme pain on my butt since Tuesday. the insides of my butt cheeks by the top of the butt crack is swollen, pink, and hurts. I cannot sit, lay down, put on shoes or socks. Im in so much pain and I just want to know what it is and how long I will be in this pain. Is it an infection or could it be from sitting weird on the toilet? Please just help me get rid of this pain. I m a female who is 20 years old.

Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, here the chances of developing infective boils is very likely and initially this can be treated with anti-inflammatory drug only and best choice would be "Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day" if the condition becomes worse and some pus collection is there then this may need some antibiotic, hope this information helps, take care.
