What Causes Swelling And Redness Of Armpit Radiating Towards Elbow?

My arm started to swell near my armpit slightly yesterday. Since I suffer from allergies I took two benadryl. It seemed to get better but now the area is red and warm again and has now spread towards my elbow. And my arm is sore. Can this be Cellulitis? Or something other than allergies?

Hi,
It seems that there might be having some infection in armpit producing cellulitis or thrombophlebitis giving rise this problem.
Go for one antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicine course for 5 days.
Apply ice pack or thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
