What Causes Swelling And Soreness On Foot And Black Big Toe?
Dear Doctor,
The big toe on my left foot is virtually black. It has been like this for 2yrs or more. I've been 2 embarrassed 2 go 2 the doc. The thing is that now my left foot is swollen and sore, not extremely sore, but can be if im on my feet for 2 long. (my right foot is also swollen now but not to the extent of me left) My ankles are sore too. When i look down at my feet you can see the difference srraight away. It looks like my ankle bone on my left foot has disappeared, such is the extent of the swelling. I keep gettin pins and needles in my left foot especially. I'm very scared. This has only flared up in the past week or so. I smoke, don't drink much at all and i am afraid 2 see my own doctor. Can you please try to put my mind at rest?
