Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am a 42 year old male. I am able to get an erection, I feel like I am going to orgasm, but I never do. I can not cum. My testicles are swollen, more on my right than left testicle. They are tender to te touch. I feel like I am going to cum, but the end result never happens. This has been going on for 5-7 days. I have tried heating pad for the swelling, baths, oral and vaginal sex. Thank you for your help. -CBR
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Based on the description, it appears that you could be having infection in the testis called 'orchitis'. Kindly get an ultrasound of scrotum done to confirm the diagnosis. You need to be treated with a course of antibiotics and antiinflammatory medications. You should consume good quantities of fluid and give scrotal support adequately. Applying cold packs would help in the region to decrease the pain and swelling. You need to consult Surgeon for the review of the scan report, clinical examination and its management. Kindly abstain from sexual activities for at least 3 weeks to allow the tissues to be back to its normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
