OBGYN 's  Response
Hello,

In the current scenario, I would like to know if your wife has any gastric-related symptoms like loss of appetite, acidity, indigestion etc., any menstrual abnormalities, any history of fibroids or ovarian cysts and any such relevant information.

The nature of the distension can be detected through a proper clinical examination followed by a sonogram of the abdomen and pelvis and if needed a CT/MRI. Further management can be planned accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam,
OBGYN
