What Causes Swelling And Throbbing Pain Around The Nose?

I had so manny surgery on my nose and every time I get very small hit on my nose or around the area my nose start throping pain non stop for 24 hr and will took 2 week to 2 month I try so manny difrent madicasion precsiption and over the counter did not help me at all and my nose get swelling too

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have swelling and throbbing pain around the nose. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like sinusitis , allergic rhinitis or contact dermatitis . I would suggest avoid applying any cosmetic ti face , apply petroleum jelly only , take steam thrice a day and take benadryl twice a day . If condition doesn't get well then consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics like amoxicillin along with decongestant and expectorant .
