What Causes Swelling And Tingling Sensation In The Right Forearm?

Last week I injured my R tricep after a workout that consisted of a series of overhead push jerks and push ups. I knew it was bad because my triceps were shaking. For a week after I could barely move the R arm and it felt hard and dense. I did a lot of stretching, ibuprofen, ice at first then heat and a lot of kneading. By day 7 it was fine. Day 8 I went to exercise, the workout was deadlifts. Felt fine during the workout but then as the day went on my R forearm began to significantly swell. It feels a little tingly, but not painful and has that dense feeling. Color, capillary refill, temperature and pulses are equal in both arms.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Get the X-ray of your arm done. Check if your muscles got ruptured or in good condition? I think you have done heavy exercises. Do exercises in a slow pace. Take pain killer for pain, Tab. Chymoral Forte for swelling and Rabeprazole also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
