What Causes Swelling Around Eyes, Nose And Some Part Of Head?

My step son was in the sun all weekend long at a country concert event. Two days after we got home his face around his eyes, nose and part of his head have swollen. He was using Aloe the night before and we were wondering if he had a reaction to the sun or the lotion. Today is day two and he is still pretty swollen.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, if it is due to the sun, it should be black, and it is not due to the aloevera, it usually may not have such reaction. Of course rarely it may show such action. Probably it may be due to the other ingredients of the lotion.
I advise you to consult a dermatologist for diagnosis and treatment . I usually prescribe to my patient with such symptoms citrizine, montelekast, mild steroid, and calamine lotion.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
