What Causes Swelling Around Genitals And Foreskin After Masturbation?

Swelling - puffy genitals 67yo male - I have had this happen a couple of times over the past year after masturbating foreskin and genital area gets puffy. I recently shaved around my penis and testicles and the same ting happened with similar signs on the inner thigh next to testicles. Thank you, FB

hi.

noted history of swelling around the genitalia. the swelling or inflammation may be caused by folliculitis (which usually occurs after shaving or when hair is accidentally pulled out from the area). if it's exposed to dirt, infection may ensue. avoid manipulation/shaving of the affected area temporarily until the swelling subsides. if the symptoms are persistent, a consult with a doctor is best. diagnostics and management will be directed accordingly,
