What Causes Swelling Around Neck?

my daughter has been told she might have a typical micro bacterial TB. she has not had a complete diagnosis. she has swelling around her neck that keeps flaring up and has done for the last 6.5 years. it is not responding to clarithromycin. 250mg/5ml twice daily she has had her neck drained 5 times but we are still not getting proper answers

I think you should go for Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology from the swelling. Ask pathologist to look for AFB and caseation necrosis. Remote possibility of malignancy is there. If in FNAC nothing conclusive than go for excision biopsy and get done histopathology of the tissue.
