Hi, thanks for posting your concern in the HCM.
I think this is a common problem after an anal intercourse and is caused due to local
venous congestion. If you have
chronic venous insufficiency or you are having haemorrhoids or fissure or fistula, or any other anorectal pathology, they may be exacerbated too. In the absence of them, with normal willful intercourse there is nothing to worry.
You can use topical Lidocaine-HC and have Sitz bath to have symptomatic relief.
I should also tell you that, whenever having an intercourse please be sure that your husband is using a condom, particularly during anal or oral (if applicable) intercourse, to avoid infection. Please also maintain good personal hygiene. And avoid intercourse if any one of you develop any lesion in the genitals.
Hope you are satisfied with my answer. If you have any further query related to this, please write back.
