What Causes Swelling Around The Nose, Face And Ankles?

Hi.I m 34 years last year i had a miscarriage after that I seriously suffer with my health.Dr suggest me lectofer ferrochil cap.after using two month I felt swelling around my nose face and ankles and I missed my manses for two months. Tomorrow Dr prescribed me gynaecoide two tablets in a day only for one time.I did that but still I didn t resolved the problem. I have light belly cramps too.kindly guide me when does it works and tablets are safe or not.thanks....

Hi,

The swelling around the face, ankles indicate changes following the development of anaemia ( low haemoglobin ), which recovers with diet in high iron and medications.

The abdomen cramps are possibly drug intake related gastric discomfort, which can be settled with intake of antacid or PPI as per the guidance of your doc.
