What Causes Swelling Around Wrist?

about a year ago i had a terrible pain around my wrist.iapplied anti inflammatory and the pain went away.now i just noticed a localised swell around there with no pain unless massaged.it was manipulated and i learnt it was not dislocated.what do i do?
