What Causes Swelling At The Back Of Head Along With Stiffness In Neck?

Friday I was in the shower a d I bent over to shave my legs..it felt like I got hit with a bat across the back of my head and upper neck..I went to er..they did cat scan..everything OK..gave me migraine cocktail felt a oil better..now for the last 3 days it s coming and going feels like the back of my brain is swollen neck hurts stiff.. and it hasn t gone away since last night and I m really scared and my head feels very weird..also having problems sleeping and my left eye keeps twitching uncontrollably..I am a 34 yr old female..about a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with multifocal idiopathic cortitis... And I ve never have had migraines..should I go back to the er.. something is wrong I just don t know what..

Hello,

The eyes twitching with sleeping problems do indicate possible side effect of Migraine cocktail given at hospital. As the CT brain was normal, major injuries with hemorrhage possibility is ruled out herewith. You should contact your ER for further assistance in this matter please.
