What Causes Swelling At The Surgical Site Post Removal Of Lymph Nodes?
I had two lymph nodes removed from my groin area in checking for stage 1 melanoma about ten days ago. Sutures were put in place which are to dissolve. The path report showed all negative. In the last day or two I have noticed this area is now swelling up it seems when I am more active. My doctor follow-up is the tbree days but I was curious if this swelling is normal ?
As you explain the situation if that swelling is not red in color does not hurt and you do not have any fever that it can wait until your appointment with your doctor. No worries
Regards
Dr/Jolanda
