I fell on my right knee almost 2 weeks ago. I had extensive bruising from mid thigh to mid calf. The leg bruising has moved down into my foot now. I went to an urgent care center 3days after the fall and they conducted crazy of the knee. They determined no breaks/ fractures, but advised flow up with my doctor 2 days later. I did so. She stated that everything looked as Good as expected, and s a id it would take time to heal. My concern is, that almost L of the swelling has gone down, but when I am up for any period of time, the knee swells above and below the knee cap. It is not really Painful, but Uncomfortable. It feels as if there is a strap tightened around the area above the knee. I have been on antibiotic for 8 days(I busted me knee cap opened when I fell). Are my symptoms common, and normal in the healing process? I should mention that my kneecap area is still numb. Thanks
