What Causes Swelling & Bruising After Intercourse?

I was having intercourse with my girl friend and I had a condom on and after we where done I noticed the condom was torn and pushed all the way back down my shaft and I noticed swelling and bruising when we were done. What caused the swelling and bruising???

Thanks for question. I understand your concern regarding swelling and bruising soon after sexual intercourse. This is more likely due to trauma because of excessive friction during sexual activity. Sometimes lack of proper lubrication of vagina may cause it. I recommend that you should consult your physician for examination. He may prescribe you anti inflammatory medicines to reduce swelling and pain if any. The condition is likely to improve within a week.
