What Causes Swelling From Earlobe, Lower Jaw To Throat While Chewing?

When I eat the back of my right jaw from my ear lobe down across my lower jaw and somewhat into my throat swells. The swelling goes down when I stop chewing after some time. It still has a small lump that is sensitive and hurts somewhat, but stays unswollen until I try to eat again. Who do you recommend I see for this issue.

Hello,

Thanks for consulting HCM

Read your query , as you have swelling in lower jaw to throat while chewing this can be due to infection in your gums or due to throat infection also .
For this I will suggest you to consult ENT surgeon for examination of earlobe and throat and if problem persists then consult oral surgeon for examination of oral cavity .
Inmeantime do warm saline gargle two - three times a day and maintain proper oral hygiene.

Hope this will help you.
