Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern...

As per your query tooth decay has not been seem to cause swelling in the ankles and feet as in case of tooth decay swelling can be seen over the jaw and face which can even extend towards upper part of neck and lymph nodes but does not cause swelling over the ankles and feet..
For tooth related issues if you are advised extraction better get it done otherwise the infection can lead to cellulitis and space infections and can become fatal..

In case of swelling over the ankles and feet there can be multiple causes like Lymphadema, infections, heart, liver or kidney disease, thyroid problems etc and you should consult an Orthopaedician and get evaluated and treatment can be planned once the diagnosis is confirmed after thorough clinical evaluation and laboratory investigations if needed..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
