What Causes Swelling In Area Of Vocal Cord Growth Removal?

I have had stiff neck and shoulders for the past month or so, but I ve also noticed that the right side of my neck feels swollen (similar to swollen glands) in about the same area where I had a vocal cord growth removed about a year ago. Is there a connection?

Hello,

The swelling may be neck lymphadenopathy. It may be secondary to infection or secondaries. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Meningitis or cervical spondylosis may also present like this. Please consult with your physician / ENT specialist he will do FNAC then treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
