What Causes Swelling In Between Legs?

Dear Dr. Jain,



I am a 16 year old girl and I sort of have this little swelling in between my legs. My Mom says its just due to the heat. It hurts when I sit on it and sometimes even when I walk. Should I be worried? Will it go away on its own?

It also kind of has this burning feeling and I have to be really careful to not put any pressure on it because it really hurts!
