What Causes Swelling In Between The Anus And Vagina After Sex?

Hello, My fiance and I just had sex and it was a bit rough... the area between my anus and vagina is very swollen, and sensitive to the touch. This occurred almost immediately after we finished. I am sure it s likely vaginal trauma from not using lubricant, but I want to know how to address it (I put some aquaphor on the area) and when to be concerned (contact my doctor). Thank you.
