What Causes Swelling In Calves Along With Tenderness And Itching?

I have always had some swelling in my left leg than my right but in the last couple of months after I started taking a new medication swelling called Zublov which is similar to suboxone so as the swelling progressed I checked up with my doctor and they put me on a water pill and ran some blood work and the blood work just came back low on potassium and around 7 on blood count so I went to see him to get my results for blood work and he examines me again and says that he does not feel it s a reaction from the medicine as prescribed he orders a ultrasound for both legs thinking possibly a blood clot so I ended up going to the emergency room because the swelling was getting like 3 times like normal leg size in feet deformity and very painful very tender to the touch and calves both of them got very itchy and so tight by the end of the night that they feel like they could burst the pain and uncomfortableness is very hard to sleep or get comfortable in any way so at the ER they completed a EKG which was normal my blood work which showed out of seven still which I ve had issues with anemia before 6 months ago I had to blood transfusions before I ended up having a hysterectomy but anyways on at the ER they also done an ultrasound on both legs that showed no blood clot anywhere and said to just continue taking my water pill and drinking lots of water and put me on iron and give me a number to set up an appointment with a varicose specialist which time to see this week but since the ER visit have now started to develop in a couple of different areas one on my upper thigh A water blister the size of a quarter & fully enlarged full of just a waterey substace which I ve had to dream about 3 different times and now it seems to be scabbing over and healing with just a little bit of redness around the outer side of it so for the last couple of days its just been trying out and scabbing over Healing I m supposing then tonight after I shower I notice a small one starting to develop on my right outer thigh which my other water blister was on my outer left thigh I don t know what is causing these blisters if its just all of the water retention trying to get out of my body or what but I m going to see the specialist on Thursday the varicose specialist because there is like only one pair of slip on shoes that I can wear and a couple of pairs of pajama bottoms I have had to cut the bottom because the area down there has become so swollen and large I was just curious and wondering what could be causing this and what does Specialist will run any different kinds of tests then have already been ran it seems to me that this is basically my last option but I know I cannot possibly have to live like this when you can look at me from a distance and see the swelling and how huge my lower legs and knees are and that s being fully dressed just mentioning other people just wanting to know if you knew what this could possibly me from and what type of diagnosis May become of this because it seems nothing is making it better is for sure but the pain of the tenderness and getting around so much slower and only being allowed to wear such limited things I have been wearing the compression socks most of the days I would appreciate any outlook that you would have upon this condition because I now again tonight are swollen and tight and ankles are like double to triple in size along with calves and knees in the water blister things puzzle me because they are clear up by my upper thigh area which is strange to me so I will be looking forward to hearing what you have to say or suggestions of what it might be?
