What Causes Swelling In Clitoris After Having Intercourse?

I had sex with my boyfriend about 38 hours ago, and ever since then my clitoris had been swelling. It is more swollen today than yesterday. We didn't use protection, but I know we've only been with eachother. I've never had this problem, and I've been having sex for over a year. Why am I swollen?
