What Causes Swelling In Hands, abdominal Pain And Nausea During Pregnancy?
I am 33 weeks pregnant and have been coughing up a thick green mucus for about four weeks with a constant headache. I also have +1 protein in my urine, swelling in my hands and feet with pitting edema in my ankles, upper right abdominal pain, nausea, and diarrhea with stomach cramps. Are these related?
Hello dear,I understand your concern. In my opinion as there is 1+ protein in urine and swelling of feet you need to get an BP checkup done to exclude pregnancy induced hypertension and preeclampsia.Preeclampsia is a condition in.pregnancy where there is BP along with proteins in urine and swelling of feet. The upper right abdominal pain ,nausea also might be related to preeclampsia only. You need a course of antiboitics for lung infection. Stomach cramps and diarrhea might be gastroenteritis. So consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated for your conditions. Dont worry with timely and apt treatment you can control the things. Good luck....Dr.srilatha.
