What Causes Swelling In Knees?

Hi- What an opporunity. I had swelling in both of my knees. It seemed like my muscles were thick - right after playing ball. I know that I have high euric acid and I stopped taking my medicine becasue i felt good for a long time. I think that was the problem. I am not sure? Can right euric acid level - 10.3 it was, cause to thinken the muscle and lots of pain? Thanks
