What Causes Swelling In Legs And Shortness Of Breath?

Swelling in legs no clots,shortness of breath after mild activity, fatigue no energy,heavy feeling in chest, need to be elevated when sleeping,poor quality sleep,feeling of fullness,belching and gas. I am 65 years old,uterine cancer survivor with radiation,dopler ultrasound this week, complete blood workup in October 2016 with internist who is now retiring.

without an exam, I can only give general information, but problems in the heart, liver, kidney or lungs cause fluid retention. The fluid retention causes other problems. If the heart isn't pumping enough blood then the typical symptoms are shortness of breath after mild activity, fatigue no energy,heavy feeling in chest, need to be elevated when sleeping. These are very serious symptoms that require immediate attention and benefit from treatment and can kill you if not treated.
