What Causes Swelling In Legs On Withdrawal From Water Pills?
I recently had a kidney infection (Feb 1-15 in the Hospital) and was given 30 days of water pills to reduce the swelling in the legs. A week after stopping the water pills, my legs are swollen again. Is this a normal reaction and should I be continuing the water pills. Waiting for my doctor s response to my recent blood test. Please advise.
Hi, It seems that there might be having kidney failure and not able to excreting urine properly leading to swollen legs. Uptill now water pills might have produce urination forcefully. You have to start water pills again after consulting your treating doctor. Wait for blood test result for renal function test like blood urea. S. creatine to know the function of kidneys. Restrict your urine intake. Ok and take care.
